Settling in to university life
The first semester at the university poses many challenges for every first-year student - creating a time table, grasping the examination regulations for your study program, getting acquainted with your peers, getting in touch with professors and lecturers. Everything seems new and different.
Mentors and student tutors are a great help because they offer services that can help you cope with these and similar challenges in your first year. Teams of mentors and student tutors organise and conduct fresher's programs that are designed to help you acquire foundational skills for your study program. These programs are also intended to help you settle in to university life.
